At Storebrogjuteriet we have specialised in manufacturing advanced iron castings by means of hand moulding in furan sand. It is a complex manufacturing method which demands a high level of professional skill and frequent quality controls.
With two moulding lines and mould sizes up to 5,000 x 3,000 mm, we can offer flexible manufacture of castings with weights up to 7,000 kg.
We cast components in grey-, white and nodular spheroidal iron as well as a range of special alloys with specific properties. It might involve products that have to withstand high temperatures, substantial wear or corrosive environments.
A major benefit for customers is that we have a fully integrated manufacturing process. This means that we deal with all stages of production, from the conceptual stage, via model production to finished product.
